교만한 우리를 구원하소서

<교만한 우리를 구원하소서>

교만은

모든 것을 파괴한다.

하나님과의 관계도

지구의 날씨도 말이다.

하나님이 창조하시고

우리에게 맡기신 이 땅을

마치 우리 것인 양

함부로 사용하며

욕심대로 살아온 

교만한 우리로 인해

창조의 세계가

신음하고 있다.

주님,

교만한 우리를

구원하소서.

땅과 거기에 충만한 것과 세계와 그 가운데에 사는 자들은 다 여호와의 것이로다 _시편 24:1

<Save Us from our pride>

Pride

destroys everything.

It destroys

our relationship with God,

and even the climate of the earth.

God created this world

and entrusted it to us.

Yet we have lived

as though it belonged to us—

using it carelessly,

driven by our own desires.

Because of our pride,

all creation

is groaning.

Lord,

save us

from our pride.

The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; _Psalms 24:1, NIV
