어려서부터 무슨 뜻인지도 모르고 불렀던 찬송가의 가사들을 비로소 이해해 간다는 건,
조금씩 자라나고 있다는 걸까요.
빠른 템포에 가리어 즐겁게만 부르던 노랫말 속에 담겨있는
선조들의 깊고 깊은 삶의 고백과, 짙고 짙은 눈물을 만날 때마다
함께 뜨거운 눈물을 흘렸던 순간들이 기억납니다.
수많은 이들의 삶의 곳곳에 살아 숨 쉬고 있을 오래된 노래들이 저의 연주로 들려질 때
소망과 평안이 함께 전해지기를 기도합니다.

Understanding the lyrics of hymns that I sang without knowing their meaning since I was young,
Is it a sign of growing little by little.
The fast tempo veiled the joyful singing, Yet within the lyrics.
lies the deep confessions of our ancestors' lives, and every time I see their profound tears
Recalls the moments when we shed warm tears together.
I pray that as the old songs, alive and breathing in the lives of countless souls,
Resonate through my performance,
they carry hope and peace together. That is my prayer.
