얼마 전 맞이한 2018년의 생일은 저에게 매우 특별했습니다. 한동안 너~무 너무 억울하고 답답해서 숨도 제대로 쉴 수 없는 상황을 겪게 되면서 나에게 주어진 & 내가 지금 살아가고 있는 진짜 아름답고 소중한 삶에 대해 진지하게 돌아 볼 수 있었고, 삶에 대한 참 소망과 위로가 절실하게 필요한 이들에게 진짜 필요한 그 무엇인가에 대해 아주 조금 알 수 있었습니다.
눈물조차 흐르지 못할 만큼, 말할 수 없이 힘든 상황을 겪고 있는 이들에게 '삶은 정말 감사하고 소중하잖아!' ; '참 아름답지 않니?' ; '크리스천으로서 더 긍정적으로 생각해 보렴~' ; '다 잊어버리고 힘내야지 !' 하는 말들은 내 기준에서 (어쩌면 형식적인) '사역'이 아니라, 힘들어하는 입장에서 그들의 '사연'에 진심으로 귀 기울이고 공감해야만 했다는 것을요.
그리고 이전에는 그저 '노래 좋은데~' 하며 지나쳤던 곡들, 요즘 다시 찾아 들어 보면서 그 속에 담겨 있는 참으로 놀랍고 귀한 말씀들로 큰 위로를 받고 있는데요, 1월 1일 ~ 12월 31일 아름답고 소중한 삶을 갖고 태어나신 모든 분들과 함께 나누기 원합니다.
